Does my spouse need a pin number to file a joint return electronically or do i need only mine

If you have an IP PIN number from IRS, enter it.

If you wife does not have one, there is nothing to enter.

well I never knew I needed one until I e filed and it got rejected so I applied for a pin and now have it but before I resubmit I need to know if the spouse needs one
