The feature comparison for desktop https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/compare/desktop/ seems to indicate that even basic supports " importing financial data including W-2s, investment and mortgage information".
However a few different community questions have users as of the past few months claiming they are not able to import a .txf file with Deluxe desktop.
Also here it says Premier or Home & Business is needed: https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899278-how-do-i-import-from-the-txf-file (under Importing other .txf files)

Yes, the Deluxe desktop version does import from TXF Files that are not for ESPP sales. The information you see here https://ttlc.intuit.com/questions/1899278 regarding Premier and Home & Business is specifically for those importing "capital gains" since Premier or higher is recommended for entering that information when you use desktop software. But Premier or higher is required for capital gain entry when using TurboTax Online software.
If you go to import capital gains information into Deluxe, it'll prompt you to upgrade to Premier for additional guidance but you can choose to continue in Deluxe version.

When I try to import capital gains on my cryptocurrencies from Coin Tracking software, it creates a txf file. But when I try to find the file to import in Turbo Tax, it is greyed out and won't let me select it.
You will have to save the file as a .csv file in order to import it.
