Hi @Ritu1 and thanks for your questions.

 

If you plan to file separately as a Texas resident, you each must report 50% of your spouse's income and half of income generated by community assets, plus all of your separate income.

 

It is recommended that you use TurboTax Desktop/Download to file these types of returns.
