Colorado subtractions from Federal AGI: I'm completing a Colorado NonResident tax form because I sold a vacant lot in a residential area in Colorado. I had a gain of $20,000 and it appears I need to put that into the box under Colorado on Turbo Tax??

Yes, you will need to file a Colorado non-resident return to claim the income. The tax due that is generated from that sale will be credited to your resident state return.

To properly file and to ensure that the flow is smooth between the two states, file your Colorado non-resident return first and then file your resident state return last.
