child support

Will taxes be taken out for child support if my children have lived with me since birth. There dad was granted child support after my kids went to visit him for the holidays now they are back home and Kansas won't drop the case. I have school records and tax prep from the past 8 years showing i have been the sole provider. I refuse to pay a dead beat dad for kids he hasn't helped raise.

child support

Unfortunately, the child support is a family court issue and must be resolved with the state of Kansas.  If the state of Kansas has an offset for the back child support, the IRS will keep your refund to pay the debt.
