Bond Premium on Treasury Obligations

In TurboTax Business Download:  In order to enter the amount reported in 1099-INT Box 12 (Bond Premium on Treasury Obligations), TurboTax instructs me to add a separate 1099-INT and enter the amount as a negative number, it does not specify which box to enter it in.  Should I enter it in Box 3?  Thank you.

Bond Premium on Treasury Obligations

Yes, since it is on treasury obligations enter it into box 3 so the overall total for box 3 will be modified.

Yes, that is a good idea!  You can enter your description in the payer field for clarity.   It will be easier to find if you need to edit anything later, too.

Thank you!

Should I enter something like "Bond Premium on Treasury Obligation" as the Payer?  I see no other way to label this entry for clarity.
