Getting document ID 11 character error when importing 1099 into TurboTax desktop. Tried upper and lower case to no avail.
Format of the doc ID is: XX########X.
I tried the example you show in the import screen screen A12B2456CD7 and that didn't result in the above error. Also tried 12345678901 which also did not result in the above error.
I guessing you have a formatting bug.
Thanks.

If you are using TurboTax Online, you may want to try a different browser or try clearing out your browser's cache and cookies. Please see How do I delete cookies? and How to clear your cache for more information.
Please see What if I can't import my 1099? for instructions. Additionally, please keep in mind that the Document ID is case sensitive.
As I said in the original post I'm using the desktop client.
Latest client updates seems to have corrected the issue.
We are happy to hear that this has been resolved.
If you need further assistance, please let us know. @ChaseSydney
document Id was case sensitive...worked for me when I capitalized all of the Letters in the document ID as per my brokerage statement.
