when I add my child and 'head of household's won't let me file my amended taxes electronically

I get this message:

Form 1040-X: This return FS : Form 1040-X cannot be filed electronically if there is a change in filing status.

And have to select an option 'Amend head of household FS'

You will need to print and mail your amended return. The error is telling you that you cannot switch to Head of Household and e-file.

it only gives me the option to file electronically, then makes me change my filing status which removes the ability to file electronically and I cannot figure out how to proceed to where I can print it. It says if the original filing was electronic then my amendment needs to be electronic.
