I was laid off in mid-April and have avoided dealing with my taxes since then because the software was indicating that I owed nearly $20K. Will the job loss grant me any exceptions or accommodations? And if I pay the extra fee to TurboTax for expert review, will they truly examine my returns to make sure nothing looks incorrect?
