I sold some clothing and shoes I no longer wear on ebay and have about $1,700 in sales on my 1099 k. How do i report this on turbotax premier? Its not a buisness as i was just cleaning out my closet. Some have been telling me to report it as self employment income. Is this true? Would i have to upgrade my turbotax to something else from premier to do this?

You don't report it unless you made a profit selling it. Did you sell it for more than you bought it for?
Yes the items were new from years ago and the value of the shoes went up so I did make a profit from selling them
If they paid you more than you paid for them, you would record it in the self employment section. You said they were shoes (plural) and clothing. Make sure the $1700 was more than you paid for all of the items. Maybe with inflation last year, you did make a profit.
