Quick Employer Forms - W-2s submitted 3 days ago and still pending approval. Why is it taking so long?

I bulk e-filed all of our W-2s on Monday the 29th of January. It has been three days and all of them still show as pending. How come it is taking so long to get approved? 

Will this delay result in a penalty for not filing on time before the January 31st deadline? 

Also, how about if some get rejected due to incorrect information? If we resubmit any incorrect ones, will they count as late?

The IRS has been bombarded with these filings. As long as you filed on or before January 31, you are fine. There is a grace period to fix a reject if your filing is rejected after the deadline.
