Question about Turbo tax version

Hello community,

Thanks in advance for answers to questions!

I have downloaded software and am finishing 2022 taxes. 

My question is which version?!

I have a W2 for most of my income but have some side income that is generated myself. 

Do I need to go through a whole business, schedule C? I'd rather not, if there is an easier way, I would do that if it was a main business I was running. Maybe be in the future .but not for now.

Which version did you download?  Yes you need to fill out schedule C for any side income.  That is self employment income even if it's not your main job.   You answer the questions for yourself, not a business that paid you.  Did you get a 1099Misc or 1099NEC?  

Do you have a specific question about filling out business info on schedule C?
