Question about filing state tax

Me and my spouse are filing federal taxes as married filing jointly. I have worked half year in Massachusettes and 5 months in West Virginia. Whereas my husband has been an entire year in Massachusettes. Can we file State tax jointly or need to do that separately in the desktop version?

You would need to file a joint Massachusetts return since you are filing a joint federal return.
