Qualifying dependent?
I was 23 and turned 24 at the end of the year in 2016, and have been a full time student the whole year. Can my parents still claim me as a dependent?
If you were 24 as of 12/31/2016, then your parents can claim you only if you earned less than $4,050 in 2016 and they paid more than half of your support.
