Purchased a computer and a separate Extended 3 yr Warranty. I have 2 items to claim here. Is the Computer a CCA Asset (50) and the Warranty an Expense in year purchased?

Yes, you will enter the computer as an asset and the warranty as a separate expense (Use the Miscellaneous category so you can provide description)

Hello Mary - Thank you 😉
I cannot find a way to add my new asset in " Assets used in your business and CCA calculation"
- it lists a bunch of existing entries from earlier tax years
Can you help with this item too?  I am using TurboTax Self Employed 2017
Thank you

Try clicking out of the business (from the menu on the top, click on Income & Expenses) and you should be on a summary screen- Edit the Business again and click through until you get to Expenses-  let me know if this works!
