Prior Year Federal Overpayment Applied

I had a Federal Tax overpayment from 2023 that was applied to 2024. I entered this information as a "2023 refund applied to 2024 federal taxes" under the "estimates and Other Income Taxes Paid" section of Federal Taxes "Deductions and Credits". The Federal Review page displays the correct "Amount Applied to Next Year's Return" under the 2023 Column.

However, the amount that appeared on the Form 1040-SR 2024 Line 26 "Estimated tax payments and amount applied from 2023 return" was doubled.  Did TurboTax automatically carry over the amount (I filed using TurboTax last year)?  Should I have not entered this manually?

Yes.  TurboTax would carry this amount over for you.  Go back and delete your manual entry.
