I purchased a deluxe product, and when I put the disk in my apple laptop it said I couldn’t proceed because I didn’t have OS 10.14 or higher. My laptop can only go to 10.11. I read that I can use my iPad. How do I put my license code when using my iPad? I don’t know very much about computers.

Sorry no you cannot use an iPad for the CD/download. The CD/download can only be used on a PC or a Mac that meets the system requirements. It cannot be used on any sort of mobile device.

Thank you for your quick response! I’m sorry, but I don’t understand. The package says to go to installTurboTax.com and enter license code to start download. Are you saying that I can’t do that on my iPad? Should I buy a new MacBook Pro so that I can use the license code from my TurboTax purchase?
No you cannot download that software to an iPad.
You do not say where you purchased the software. If you purchased it from TurboTax you can call customer support and see if they will adjust your bill and let you use online TurboTax, You can use online TT on an iPad, but you cannot pay for online with that license code. If you purchased the software from some other retailer then you need to see if you can return it,
