The distributions of my PFIC show up on my 1099 form. The PFIC also issues an Annual Information Statement that I am suppose to use to calculate my share of the PFIC's income. Reporting both numbers would be double counting the income. Am I suppose to use what is on my 1099 or do I report the income number I calculate using the Annual Information Statement?
