Could I have an expert take a look at my most recent paystub and check if I have federal taxes coming out?

Hi Mwashy0109 - Unfortunately we are not able to look at your paystubs in this forum. The best thing for you to do is look at your paystub and you will see the deductions. You should see deductions for FICA and MCARE (those are social security) and you should see Federal Tax withheld and State Tax withheld , if you live in a state that has taxes.

If you do not see any federal tax withheld line item on your paystub for either current period or year to date period, you should submit a Form W4 to your employer. Here is a great resource to walk through the steps of the Form W4

Once you complete the form, give it to your employer. Then, keep a close eye on your next few paychecks to see how the changes impacted your federal income tax withholding.
