I had that and just my health care forms

There is never a fee to get a refund or to get direct deposit.  The fee is for the version you use.

You are using the Free Edition which is free.  Then the paid versions are Deluxe and above.  You are probably thinking of the extra 34.99 Refund Processing Service charge.  That is only if you selected the option to have any fees deducted from your refund.

Are you asking about Turbo Tax fees OR about not having a tax due?

TurboTax is free for those filing just W-2 and health care information on form 1040A or 1040EZ tax return. Also there is no charge for direct deposit.
