I'm a long time (20 y) user of TurboTax encompassing many phases of life (filing for my wife's S-Corporation, filing single and most years jointly, filing after adoption of child, filing through sale and purchase of homes etc.
TurboTax still has pages that don't work, your help pages send user to a given page and asks them to click on a button or link which does not exist, it is often an item or topic which comes up with "no relevant page" if one searches for it. If the user seeks some real live help, there's a charge (open ended amount) even though it's not really "tax advice" at all but the user is told they are paying the charge for tax advice. What is being sought is help finding relevant information about your program and how to enter some uncommon information, or to find out why the program has handled some of the information in a certain way, even when the program apparently did not enter it onto any part of any form filed.
In Brief and in general: Like every other software company Intuit should be responsible to make sure the software is running properly and showing the links their client needs and has paid for -- That is not "tax advice" and needs to be available for free (I mean from a real person), if its not in help your help forum.
