What's the problem with getting the electronic version of Oregon Schedule OR-A into ANY update? It's had DO NOT FILE since day one. The form is on the Oregon Department of Revenue website for the folks who submit their returns with crayons. Why isn't it in the latest update to TURBOTAX Deluxe? This doesn't seem to be a complicated form.

You may have a form that is not yet released. The state and federal governments approve the most common forms first and work their way down the list. Please see the links for form availability. Once a date shows up, the reality should be close. Once released, Turbo Tax will work quickly to get it working in the program.
True, the Form is not yet released by TurboTax, but the State of Oregon said that it released the form quite a while ago and said "other" companies have already coded this form for use in their systems and they knew that TurboTax wasn't going to release this form until February 3rd. I'll be patient until then. 🙄
A bit frustrating. I already have my federal refund back but I'm still unable to efile my Oregon state return through Turbo Tax because they apparently cannot update a simple form! The form is available on the ODR website and through other software so why is it taking Turbo Tax so long to update? Please update the form so we all can finish efiling!
I've been told that the form will get into the software update by February 3rd.
I agree with you that TurboTax seems to have dropped the ball on this form.
I just talked to Turbotax Help line and they informed me that OR Schedule A for 2021 will not be available for the CD download version until February 24th. I'm beyond frustrated.
Does anyone know anything beyond that?
Thanks so much...
I'm not sure what CD Download means. The OR-A was part of the online update of my TurboTax Deluxe on February 3rd. If you're doing TurboTax on a computer attached to the internet, you should be able to click ONLINE on the menu and then Check For Updates.
"CD/download" refers to the software that a user can install on his/her PC to run TurboTax, as opposed to Online where everything is done through a browser "online". The CD/download options has somewhat more functionality than the Online version (which itself is fine for most taxpayers).
The Online version, since it resides on Intuit servers, is updated automatically, whereas the CD/download version needs to be updated by the user (although it usually will try to do this every time the CD/download software is launched).
The support website available to us says that OR-A is available now. Please follow the availability of CD/download forms for Windows and Mac at this TurboTax webpage.
Try to close and relaunch TurboTax to do the updates. If that doesn't work, at the top left in TurboTax, click on Online, and then click on Check for Updates.
There is a rare situation in which updates don't happen on a user computer, but I would rather not go through that if we don't have do. I have OR-A in TurboTax on my desktop. Reply if you still have an issue.
It’s now Feb 16th and I was told it wouldn’t update till tomorrow by turbo tax
This form should be ready before tax season starts by the government and by TurboTax
This delay is ridiculous. Oregon needs to get its tax act together.
I submitted and my return was rejected. No notice from Turbo Tax or Oregon Tax Authority.
PS Was advised yesterday 2/16/21 but Turbo Tax the Oregon form will NOT be installed until Feb 24.
I’m not sure how you were advised that because every tax expert I spoke to on TurboTax had no idea, it still says on February 17 or after for the update, it updated my tax information when I did it this morning showed a different refund amount and says it’s in process, I guess we’ll see if it’s rejected in another hour or so
