Online version vs cd

I started with the online version yesterday. For 20yrs I've bought a CD or a program download. I thought I was on the right track. I paid assuming it would need to the download....very unhappy and the info I see sis the online version had no guarantee. Is there a way to get my money back from online and get a CD or download?

If I bought a CD version for 2019, can I use the license code to do Turbo Tax online?

A license code is not used with the online editions.

The online and desktop editions are different programs with different price points.
