On Turbo Tax I requested a six month extention which I received, but is it for Turbo Tax program or an extention for filing my 1918 taxes?

The extension you requested is an extension to file your federal tax return.

On Turbo Tax I requested a six month extention which I received, but is it for Turbo Tax program or an extention for filing my 1918 taxes?

The 6 month extension is for filing your federal tax return.  Note that if you have federal taxes owed, those taxes have to be paid on or before April 15, 2019 to avoid a failure to pay penalty.

The TurboTax online editions will be available through October 15, 2019.
