No. The only possible way to import data from the prior year tax file is at the very beginning when you start the tax return. So in order for you to do that, you would have to completely clear your return and start over from scratch. On the left select OPTIONS (or is it TOOLS?) and then the "clear and start over" function.
Note that when importing from a PDF, you will "NOT" import everything you may need. From the PDF you can only import the data that appears under the Personal Info section. That's it. No other data gets imported from a PDF.
That needs to be fixed, or there should be a warning that you are not incorporating everything. I made a simple mistake and now my choices are retyping a whole lot of stuff on the new return or not having lots of info from last year that I now have to retype on the one I started This defeats the purpose of using the same software every year. Boo Turbotax for not recognizing this issue and solving it.
