It depends.  If you imported your transactions, something could be incorrect or missed.  You should check the 1099-B entries to verify reported categories and eliminate any stray entries.  Make sure you entered everything correctly.

If you don't need any Form 1099-B's you can delete the Form.

To delete a Form 1099-B

  • From the Menu, select: Tax Tools>Tools>Delete a form.
  • Select Delete next to the form/schedule/worksheet and follow the onscreen instructions.

OR

To edit a Form 1099-B

  1. Sign in to TurboTax
  2. Select "Take me to my return"
  3. Type "Form 1099-B" in the "Search" option and press enter
  4. Click on "Jump to 1099-B"
  5. Select "Yes" on the "Did you sell any investments in 2017?" screen
  6. Click "Edit" on the "Here's the investment sales info we have so far" screen to edit.

I am having the same issue. Turbo tax would not let me upload my 1099B from Cash app and I tried to enter manually but it doesn't seem to be right. I saw somewhere that I should enter each proceed separately? But I only got 1 1099 with a total and then a list of transactions. I wonder if I should try and list them all individually?  Did you ever get the needs review to go away?

What type of transactions are you trying to include on your tax return?  Stocks, cryptocurrency, bonds, or some combination?  If the transactions are all of one type, you might be able to include a summary without having to enter each one separately.  Other words, you might be able to include just the gross proceeds, the cost basis, and then whether you have a gain or loss.  It will be more manageable if all of the transactions are short-term or all long-term.

Follow-up with additional information.
