No. You can use TurboTax software to go back as far as 2016.
It is not possible to get a tax refund for any year earlier than 2016, but if you owe tax the IRS still wants to be paid---with interest and penalties
The software for earlier years is no longer available nor is it supported even if you could find it on eBay, etc.
If you are that far behind, you need more help than a do-it-yourself tax program can provide, and more help than we can provide from this user forum. You should really seek local paid professional tax help--and not from some seasonal storefront place. A paid preparer can help you sort out your ten years' worth of heaven knows what, and help negotiate with the IRS for tax you may owe.
If you do not want to take this advice, here is how to get software for 2016, 2017, and 2018. The online program can only be used for 2019--no other year. Every tax year must be prepared as a separate tax return, using the forms and software for that specific year. You cannot combine income from multiple years on the same tax return. All years except 2019 have to be printed, signed and mailed. They cannot be e-filed.
To file a return for a prior tax year
If you need to prepare a return for 2016, 2017, or 2018 you can purchase and download desktop software to do it, then print, sign, and mail the return(s)
Remember to prepare your state return as well—if you live in a state that has a state income tax.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Note: The desktop software you need to prepare the prior year return must be installed/downloaded to a full PC or Mac. It cannot be used on a mobile device.
If you are getting a refund, there is not a penalty for filing past the deadline. If you owe taxes, the interest/penalties will be calculated by the IRS based on how much you owe and when they receive your return and payment. The IRS will bill you for this; it will not be calculated by TurboTax.
Really -- get help from a pro. One of my own family members had a similar problem and had to get help to sort it all out. They finally did sort it ---so he could get disability since not filing taxes for years caused major problems with Social Security, too.
No. You can only do the current year with TurboTax (TT) online software.
You can still prepare 2016-2018 returns with TT download software. You cannot e-file, but must print and mail. https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/past-years-products/
For the other years, you can get forms (for mailing) from the IRS. https://www.irs.gov/forms-pubs/prior-year
