I just finished my Ohio School district filing and it calculated showed I owed a late payment penalty on the calculations sheet, but did 2 things wrong, it did not add in my estimated payment in the quarter it was paid so came up with a higher penalty than it should have been, then it never copied that penalty amount to the page 1 form to add into the tax due. I am having to force both these entries so I don't get a nastigram from the state.
TurboTax YOU NEED TO FIX THIS.

When you entered your estimated payment for the Ohio School District, did you enter the estimated payment under local taxes? To check this in the download version of TurboTax:
For the online version of TurboTax:
Enter the estimated payments here will allow those payments to flow to the OH SD 100 return for your school district.
Sorry but it is a blatant error in Turbotax itself
Yes, I entered my estimated payment as a local tax, selected school district tax and picked the correct quarter and date it was paid. Turbotax unfortunately both missed applying it the correct quarter, I had to force from 4th quarter to 3rd when I paid it. The bigger issue is that it fully calculated the penalty but even though the steps to quality for no penalty were checked NO (indicating penalty due) it never carried the calculated penalty into the main tax return penalty field.
Double fail....
