nys requires I file electronically, I am filing for a deceased person and it will not let me file electronically

New York requires you to file electronically IF "your tax software supports the electronic filing of your return." If TurboTax does not let you file electronically then it does not support electronic filing of your return. Therefore you are not required to file your New York return electronically. File it by mail.
