NY Residency, moving

I lived in NY from Feb to November, and then moved to Chicago. I still had my lease in NY run through to 03/2023 but I left the apartment in November (and took my things with me).

Am I a full time or part time resident of NY?

You would be a part year resident of New York if when you left you did not intend to return to New York to live there in the near future.

Moved to the US mid-year, no US-income for the remainder, but house sale went through just before arriving, and also got my final paycheck for my old job afterwards. Do I need to file and if so what should I report?
