No rental income but TT asking me to fill in Schedule E

@ mthielke64

Did you enter any 1099-MISC forms?  Any royalty income, such as a 1099-MISC for mineral royalty?  Or other types of royalties?

Was that instruction you mentioned from an error message/smartcheck when you went through the Review?   Or did you manually start the Schedule E interview (Rentals and Royalty Income) ?

Or did you enter a K-1 with any distributed rental/royalty income in one of the Boxes?

Did not enter1099-MISC forms.  No royalty income.

It came from an error message/smartcheck when I went through the Federal Review.

Did not enter a K-1, or distributed rental income.

In TurboTax Desktop, click Forms in the upper right hand corner.

Then scan the Forms in My Return for the Federal tax return.

I suspect that Schedule E is reporting as Not Done.

If this is correct, and you do not intend to use the Schedule E or the form that is Not Done, highlight the form(s) and select Delete Form along the bottom of the screen.

Finally, return to Federal Review to see whether the error has cleared.

No.  I'm all ready to E file but this is holding it up!

Have you tried deleting the form as @JamesG1 suggests above?
