Hi,

i did my tax return a few weeks ago. Did not file. Now when I stat turbo tax deluxe 2021 there is no tax file to open. I will only want to start a new return. when i search for *.tax2021 there is no file. The return was complete and checked.

If you're using the online version, it's most likely that you have multiple accounts and have logged in with the wrong one. Use https://myturbotax.intuit.com/account-recovery/ to see if you have multiple online accounts.

If you are using the CD version, then your 2021 tax file will be in the documents\turbotax directory with a filename extension of .tax2021. If the file is not there, then it was either moved or deleted by you, or more likely someone else who was using your computer.
