How do I file a 1095B in place of a 1095A? My TurboTax software is advising me to not file without a 1095A, but I have confirmed with my healthcare marketplace that I will not be receiving one due to the plan I have. Any assistance is appreciated!

You do not need to file a 1095-B. If you don't have a 1095-A form, there is no need to file anything about your health insurance on your tax return.

There is no longer a penalty for not having health insurance, so it is no longer something you have to enter on your tax return, unless you get a 1095-A.

That is a horrible answer to the question.  If you received a 1095A then it needs to be entered into the tax program to determine if there is a credit or penalty for your subsidized healthcare.

I have the same problem. I did not receive a form 1095 A and was told by the healthcare.gov representative that I would not receive one even though I had marketplace insurance because I did not have any premium tax credit discounts to the insurance and paid full price.

If you had health insurance through healthcare.gov or any Marketplace insurance, even if only for 1 day in 2020, you should receive a 1095-A.   And that 1095-A has to be entered on your tax return.    Just because you did not receive a subsidy (paid full price)  does not mean you are not eligible for a Premium Tax Credit.   And that credit cannot be calculated without the 1095-A.    The good news here is that for 2020, amended returns can be e-filed so it should not be too difficult to get corrected.

You should have received a paper form in the mail from your marketplace. If you didn't receive a Form 1095-A, sign in to your Healthcare.gov account to download a copy.  @owlcollector

none of these answer the question of how to stop the program from asking me to put in a monthly premium amount on 1095-A, when I have a 1095-B
