Do I claim myself a one dependent in the new W4 ? I do not see a line that indicates it. It just indicates dependent.

    Hi Na65, On the Form W-4 you will not claim yourself as a dependent.  Tax year 2017 and prior you claimed yourself as a personal exemption, but 2017 was the last year for personal exemptions.  

     

    The dependent line on the Form W-4 is for dependents that are claimed on your tax return.
