new account email from turbo tax

I received an email saying i had a new account  and to click the button to see my new account to make sure it was mine. when i clicked on the button, i just get my trubo tax account and nothing about a new account????

Do  not ever click on a button in an e-mail.      Go directly to your account and login there.

Scammers, send look-alike e-mails and logging in for the e-mail gives the spammer your password if it is a scam.  If it is not a scam, then there is no reason to click on the e-mail button.

it was not a scam email. it was a confusing turbo tax email.

As a matter of fact, Credit Karma sent me a similar email about a new credit card, and it took me right to the card so I knew what it was.
