Yes you are able to e-file up to 5 returns if you are using the Desktop version (which you install on your own computer), you can complete as many return as you wish but can only e-file up to 5, any additional return beyond 5 will have to be filed by mail.
To do this, launch the program and select the BLUE "Start a New Return" button (or select "New Return" under the "File" tab in the menu bar) near the center of the window; TurboTax should then save each return with a unique filename based on the first name listed on the actual return.
If you are using the Online version, only one return can be completed per account. If you would like to prepare more than one return Online, you MUST create a new user ID. The same e-mail address can be used for multiple accounts (must have DIFFERENT user ID).
