Need assistance with my last name

As per SSN my last name is more than 20 char including a space like xyz hgt which turbotax is not allowing as its exceed 20 char limit. So, if I remove the space in between then its 20 char. My question is shall I go ahead and file tax back by removing the space, in that case will IRS accept it ?
