My W2 on box 15 (Utah state withholding ID) is blank. But I cannot file it as blank. I presume my employer does not have one, but I am not sure. What do I do?

My employer has a federal ID, but nothing for the state of Utah (Where I reside). I tried to leave it blank, but it won't let me file with it blank.

Try using the Federal EIN number in the State ID box (enter UT as well for State Acronym).
