My two adult children lived with me last year. They both had jobs off and on so will be filling themselves but I supported lodging, food, etc.

If they were age 19 or older, not full time students and had gross income of $4,700 or more in 2023 then you cannot claim them as dependents on your tax return.

If your sons older than 19 (24 if still in school), are not eligible as a Qualifying Child.

However, they may be eligible as Qualifying Relatives.

The income may be an issue.

Provided they meet these guidelines, you can claim them as dependents.
