My tax return status has been "printed and ready to mail" for about a month now (I did choose the printed check option). How much longer can I expect to wait for it to be mailed?

There are two file options in TurboTax, file by mail and e-file. If you chose the file by mail option, then you are responsible for printing and mailing the tax return. Your filing instruction page will give you instructions on what to mail, and list mailing addresses where to send the tax return to. 

To get a copy of your federal and state tax return along with your filing instructions page, please follow these steps:

1. Log into your TurboTax account
2. Scroll to the bottom of page, click Add a State( you are not adding a state, this is just to get in the right menu)
3. Over to the left, click Tax Tools dropdown
4. Click the Print Center
5. Click the Print, save or preview this year's return
6. Check both the 2018 federal returns and 2018 (name of your state) returns
7. Select Include government and TurboTax worksheets (optional)
8. Then, click View or print forms, and the filing instructions page will be the very first page, read the entire page carefully. What you need to mail should be the listed under What you need to mail. Payment vouchers forms are usually included in the PDF, read each page of the entire PDF carefully.
