My son's father claimed him without me knowing when I tried to file my taxes. How do I go about claiming my son?

You can claim him, but you will not be able to e-file your return. You will have to print and mail your return. The IRS will then contact you and the father to determine which one of you is entitled to claim your son as a dependent.
