My return was rejected

My adopted son's name was changed.  I used the new name that does not match the IRS's records.  I need to change back and resubmit.

Yes, you are correct, in order to e-file your return, you will need to change your son's name back an resubmit your return.

To do so in TurboTax online: 

• Log into your Turbo Tax Online account.
• Select "Take me to my return"
• Click "My Info" located on the left side of your screen
• Click "Edit" next to your Son's Name and make the correction
• Next, walk through the "File" process to resubmit your return
