My return was rejected because it's saying my dependent ip pin. I'm trying to correct it so I can refill but it's not showing me

How do I add or remove my 6-digit IP PIN?

Follow these instructions to enter your IP PIN or to remove one that you accidentally entered.

1. Sign in to your TurboTax account
2. Open or continue to your return if you don't already have it open
3. In the search bar type IP pin (don't forget the space)
4. Select the Jump to link in the search results
5. On the Identity Protection PIN screen, answer Yes. Select Add and enter your IP PIN in the space provided
   • If you need to remove the IP PIN, select the trash icon
6. Select Continue, then select Done

Turbo Tax does not have the option to add a dependent IP PIN as you are entereing the information.

@wmbgpackfan The IP PIN is entered in a different area of TurboTax.  You don't enter your IP PIN in the screens you go through to e-file.

OR:

• Click  Federal Taxes tab (Personal tab - Home & Business, Self Employed)
• Click on Other Tax Situations.
• Scroll down to "Other Return Info"
• Identity Protection PIN click Start or Update
