My return was rejected because I didn't realize that my mom had filed and claimed me as a dependent. Which was appropriate, I'm a student.

How do I fix my return so I don't keep getting calls from Intuit?

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state. 

This will take you back to the 2023 online tax return.

Click on My Info on the left side of the online program screen.  Edit your personal information and change your dependency status.

After entering your personal info (name address etc), the next scree will be "Do any of these apply to (your name)". Check the box "Another taxpayer can claim (your name) on their tax return". Then check "Another taxpayer will claim (your name) in 2023".
