My return got rejected from my boyfriends bank account and they said they sent the deposit back to the irs, do i need to file an amended return or what can i do?

You don't need to do anything. If the bank rejected the deposit and sent it back to the IRS then the IRS will mail a check to the address on your return. You should not put down a bank account that your name is not on.
