My premium tax credit amounted to $0 according to TT’s automatic checks. Why is it still trying to make me upgrade to Deluxe?

Entering your 1095A requires the use of a schedule that is not supported by the Free Edition or by online Live Basic. It is not a "simple" return if you have that form. So---you have to upgrade to a paid version.

Or—-Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free. There are 8 free software versions available from the IRS Free File site
