Can you revisit that section of your return and review all your answer to ensure everything is complete and then resubmit.

Thank you! @cathy620
No luck. The "fix my return" button only takes me to a statement abt amount of my Ohio refund.
There are a few common reject codes being returned when a user attempts to file their Ohio SD-100. Take a look at the information below for possible solutions to two of those codes:
For reject code OH-PIT-068
Here is something that may be causing the issue and it has helped others file successfully.
Look at your Form 1099-R entries. The state information shown in boxes 14 through 16 of Form 1099-R need to all have a value in them if there are any state taxes withheld.
If your Form 1099-R does not show a state ID number, enter the Federal ID number. If your Form 1099-R does not show a state distribution amount (box 16), enter the distribution amount shown in box 1. Do not enter zero for the distribution amount if state taxes were withheld.
If no state taxes were withheld, make sure all boxes 14 through 16 are empty. Do not enter a zero in the taxes withheld box.
For reject code OH-PIT-009
There is some missing information on the SD 100. In the Ohio return, go to the screen Other Situations, then select Ohio school district taxes. Continue through the screens until you reach one that asks for dates of residency for the school district while you were an Ohio resident. Be sure this information is filled in for both taxpayer and spouse if filing a joint return. If you were an Ohio resident all year, then there should be enough dates entered to cover the entire year, even if in different school districts.
When finished, select Done. Run the error check and then re-submit the return for electronic filing.
I'm sure the intentions of the experts are good but the advice is missing some realities.
I didn't get an email until after the state taxes were filed and it included a link to "Fix my return" which led me to a blind alley. The state return was accepted and I received my refund in spite of the TurboTax website telling me it was rejected. I have since repeatedly visited the "Tax Home"over the past several weeks looking for additional links. The "Tax Home" page is the only seemingly useful page I can get when signing back in after filing.
The only way I could find the "Other situations" page was by filing an amendment to the state return. I made certain that ALL of the fields were filled in on the SD100 (I put a zero in one of the dollar amount fields which I had left blank) then I continued, saved, and hit done all the way to the end. There was no apparent way to e-file just the SD100 and now TurboTax expects me to print and mail my state return, which I have zero confidence will actually solve the SD100 problem.
Now I wish I had not followed the advice because I have apparently goofed up the status of my state return.
Thank you so much!! That worked. Filed and accepted!
Just happened to me too. "Missing" info seems to be there, so no idea how to proceed. File using a paper form?
You should go back through your federal return and review the state withholding information for all the forms you entered. Sometimes an error of not entering the state abbreviation, entering the state ID incorrectly, or not entering the state distribution amount can cause this rejection.
To go back through your forms:
If necessary, make the appropriate change and re-submit this return electronically. However, if the reject continues, you may want to file a paper return.
TT had told me to enter zero if state distribution was blank. Wrong! Your earlier suggestion to enter the amount from box 1 seems to have corrected my problem. I hesitated filing at first because I did not know how that worked - I was afraid it would mean an amended filing for fed and state forms too! But I got brave and walked through the filing process to find TT is smart and knew only to submit the Ohio School tax form. Did that and am waiting to hear it is accepted. Thanks!
My email from ohio state return says was accepted. My email for school district return said rejected as others have gotten. But I also got a text message that says my ohio state return was rejected after the email said accepted. Which do you believe?
Sign in to your return and check the status. Or if you used the desktop, you can check your e-file status from the FILE menu. @GRANDPA21
I have. ohio state says accepted. Ohio school says rejected.
eMail says state accepted.
Later text message says state rejected.
Thats the confusion.
What is the reject code you are getting?
