I am sorry for your loss. Yes, in the Personal Info section you would
check the box stating that the person passed away and you would enter
the date of passing. Then complete the tax return as normal using the
tax forms received by person who passed, ie W-2's, Form 1099's etc. The
program will automatically generate a Form 1310 for you. There are times when E-file may not work if the Social Security Administration has blocked the SSN already but you should be fine.
