My mom claimed me on her taxes last year should I still put in last years W2?

If you made more than $6,300, you must file a tax return. If you made less than $6,300 you may want to file a tax return if you had federal taxes withheld from your paycheck. You would be able to get a refund for the federal income taxes withheld ( not social security or medicare tax).

If you file a tax return, you need to indicate that someone else claimed you as a dependent. In Turbo Tax that is in the Personal Info section. It is part of question 3.
