My Florida state id does not have an expiration date, but the form won't accept that. What can I do to e-file?

You can e-file without your state id. Just delete the information about your ID and you will be able to file. Some states are requiring this information but Florida does not require a state tax return so you will be able to e-file without your state ID.

Just be aware that some FL State issued ID cards do expire. The following is an excerpt from the Florida Statutes: §322.051 (2) (a) Every identification card shall expire, unless canceled earlier, on the fourth birthday of the applicant following the date of original issue.

Yes, FL identification cards and driver's licenses do expire.   However, you are not required to enter any information from your FL ID to e-file a tax return in TurboTax.   Don't file a FL state return - FL does not have an income tax.   

The Florida return in TurboTax is to report tangible personal property that is used in a Florida-located business or rental property and is filed with the county property appraiser. 

If you do not have a business or rental real estate in Florida with tangible personal property to report, you do not need to prepare or file the Florida return in TurboTax.  Choose Skip State in the State Taxes section.   @Anymouse

My driver's license expired back in December,  I never received a notification. The earliest appointment I got was mid April to renew. I had an option to do walk in , living in broward County is a horror story to renew. I went to try walk in,  arrived 30 minutes before they opened and there was already 400 people in line. Man in front of line said he got there noon the previous day.  

Well hence I never noticed that when I did my tax return my ID was expired.
